VDO.AI Review 2026 — What Indian Publishers Should Know

An Indian company, Google-certified, and the only partner in this set whose publisher base is actually concentrated in India. If you are an Indian publisher, this is the one where the measured numbers and the sales pitch point the same way.

Quick verdict

publisher_domains........................746
per_publisher_ratio........................1.02
google_certified........................YES
indian_sites........................69 / 123

746 publisher domains at a ratio of 1.02 — effectively one account per publisher. Present on 69 of the 123 Indian sites scanned, the highest count in this set. Google-certified, though not one of the six Premier partners.

What they actually do

VDO.AI appears in the ad-tech supply chain as a seller in its own sellers.json, with 746 publisher domains listed. Its publisher base is concentrated in India (9% of its domains), which is unusual — most companies of this size are weighted towards the US, Japan or Europe.

What I can measure is who they represent and how. What their product does day to day — formats, video players, header bidding setup — is not something a sellers.json file tells you, and I am not going to summarise their marketing copy back at you. Ask them directly, and ask for a publisher reference in your vertical.

Requirements

VDO.AI’s own publisher page answers this directly: it works with websites already generating at least $4,000 in monthly ad revenue. Its site states no pageview minimum, revenue share, payment terms or contract length, so get those in writing before you sign.

Reporting model

The ratio is distinct seller IDs divided by publisher domains in the company's own sellers.json. It is the one thing you can check before signing anything.

RatioWhat it means for you
0.7 and aboveEach publisher tends to get their own account. Your impressions, eCPM and fill are yours to read.
0.2 to 0.7Mixed. Some publishers get their own ID, some share one.
below 0.2IDs are shared across many publishers. You see a share of a pooled number, not your own.

At 1.02, VDO.AI sits in the top band: there are marginally more publisher domains than seller IDs, which is what you see when each publisher gets their own account rather than sharing a pooled one. In practice that means your impressions, eCPM and fill should be readable as yours. Confirm it anyway — ask to see the reporting view before you sign, not after.

Where Indian publishers stand

Across 123 Indian publisher ads.txt files — national news, regional language, tech, sport and entertainment — VDO.AI appeared with a DIRECT line on 69. That is the highest count of any partner in this set, and more than double the next Indian company on the list.

For comparison, from the same scan: Affinity Global 42, AdPushup 33, Primis 24, Publift 23, MonetizeMore 18, Freestar 3, and Playwire, Ezoic and Mediavine 0.

A high count means many Indian publishers already have a direct relationship with them — it is evidence of presence, not of good rates. Two publishers on the same partner can be on very different terms.

What changed since the last scan

Re-checked on 15 September 2026: 746 publisher domains in August, 757 today — a gain of 11, or 1.5 per cent. The ratio is 1.033.

Indian domains in the current file: 68 ending in .in — the second-highest count of any partner measured here, and roughly nine per cent of its entire published roster. Named examples include aninews.in, bscnotes.in, agrijob.in and bdma.co.in. Of its 782 records, 58 are marked BOTH and seven INTERMEDIARY, so a slice of what it sells is passed on rather than direct.

Who they're right for

FITS

  • Indian publishers who want a partner that already works with Indian sites at scale
  • Video-heavy inventory, given where the company positions itself
  • Publishers who want their own reporting rather than a pooled share
  • Anyone who wants a partner in the same timezone for support and payments

DOESN'T FIT

  • Publishers who need published rates and terms before a conversation — none are public
  • Anyone outside India looking for a locally concentrated partner elsewhere
  • Sites that do not meet Google's own AdX policy bar — certification does not change that

How to verify this yourself

Four steps, no tools, about two minutes. Every number above comes from these files.

StepWhat to do
1Open https://vdo.ai/sellers.json in a browser. If it 404s, the company publishes none — that itself is the answer.
2Count the entries. Each has a seller_id and usually a domain. The number of distinct domains is the publisher count.
3Divide distinct seller IDs by distinct domains. That is the ratio in the block above.
4Open yoursite.com/ads.txt on an Indian site — try aninews.in, publictv.in or moneylife.in, all three of which VDO.AI lists in its own sellers.json. Search for vdo.ai. A line ending DIRECT means a real direct relationship; RESELLER means it is being passed on.

Disclosure

I run an MCM operation myself, so treat this as a competitor writing about a competitor. That is exactly why nothing here is an opinion about their service quality — every figure is from a public file you can open yourself, and the method is in step 4. I have no commercial relationship with VDO.AI, and this page is not sponsored.
